About Sophia
Hello! My name is Sophia, and I am a certified National Lifeguard with a passion for water safety and helping people feel secure, relaxed, and happy around the pool. I specialize in active water safety monitoring, scanning, crowd control, and emergency response. My absolute priority is creating a professional, highly attentive, and safe environment so you can completely focus on enjoying your event and your guests. Through earning my National Lifeguard and Standard First Aid CPR-C certifications, I have developed a strong foundation in risk management and handling high-energy groups. (As a bonus for pet owners, I also hold specialized first aid certification for dogs and cats!)
Alongside my aquatics background, I am a highly driven student currently maintaining a 96% academic average. I actively apply my leadership and as the captain for a senior girls' field hockey team and leader of clubs. Additionally, my time volunteering at a local animal hospital has refined my ability to make quick decisions, stay very observant, and keep a cool head under pressure. I look forward to meeting you on the pool deck!
