Hello, my name is Sophie. I am attending Guelph university for my first year this fall and I will be getting my BA in psychology. I have my national lifeguard, swim instructor, CPR, and airway management certifications. I am able to teach all ages, from babies to adults. I have been a lifeguard for three years, working at residential apartment pools. I was also on my high-school swim team all four years, my best strokes are front crawl and breast stroke. In terms of other non swim related jobs, I am a soccer referee for children’s recreational soccer, I was a day camp CIT for two summers and I regularly babysit and dog-sit in my neighbourhood. Whether I’m lifeguarding or teaching, water safety is my number one priority.
