Hi, I'm Ashley! I am originally from the United Kingdom and moved to Florida in August 2025. Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, with several members of my family working as swim instructors. Growing up around the pool helped develop my passion for swimming, water safety, and teaching others. I earned my swim teaching qualifications in the UK at the beginning of 2025 and previously worked as a lifeguard, giving me a strong foundation in both water safety and swimmer development. My teaching approach focuses first on building confidence and safety skills in the water. I believe that helping swimmers understand how to stay calm and react safely in challenging situations creates the foundation for successful swimming and lifelong enjoyment of the water. I strive to create a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment where every swimmer feels comfortable progressing at their own pace. Whether a swimmer is just getting started or looking to improve their skills, my goal is to help them become confident, safe, and capable in the water.
