developed my swimming background through real ocean experience after moving to Maui, where I lived for several years. I spent extensive time body surfing and swimming on the south side of the island around Makena. I regularly handled 4–7 foot face waves and during the 2022 historic swell I successfully caught multiple 10–15 foot waves and two around 15–20 foot faces. I have been teaching swim lessons for a little under a year and currently work with children ages 7 months to 12 years old. I specialize in building water confidence, beginner swimming skills, and stroke refinement. My goal is to help each student become safe, comfortable, confident, and independent in the water through patient, calm, and supportive instruction focused on real safety and control.
