BIO

Hello, my name is Edward Krajkowski, but everyone calls me Teddy.  I swam competitively for 15 years in my home state of New Jersey on a summer team, a year round team and, or course, for my high school, where I was captain in my senior year. I was one of the top-ranked long-distance freestyle swimmers and my favorite event is the 400-meter freestyle.  After I earned my Lifeguard and Red Cross Certifications, I began giving swim lessons and coaching at the Morris County Swim Club, Glacier Hills Swim Team, and KimSwim Pool Academy to all skill levels.  I have worked with toddlers who were entering pools for the first time, competitive swimmers racing at the local, state and national levels and everyone in between.  In addition, I am qualified to teach parent-tot lessons.  I would like to share my lifetime love of swimming with everyone! I love watching children learn; the opportunity to coach will always be a passion of mine. And the better a child can swim, the safer he or she is.

Specialties

Although I am comfortable working with all skill levels, my favorite age group is youngsters, from three to eight years old.  My collection of pool games is vast and fun!  Whether your child is getting in the pool for the first time or training for competition, I can help him or her learn to swim and later perfect the freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke, as well as diving and flip turn techniques. Let me help you prepare your child for a lifetime of fun in the water.
