BIO

Greetings! My name is Roza and I have decided to channel my energy into what brings a smile and sense of satisfaction upon me =) and that is to teach swim lessons!  Learning to swim was one of the most liberating skills I value to this day!   From the time I was a child I knew aquatics would become a part of my identity. After learning to swim a basic freestyle I pursued becoming a competitive swimmer and water polo player. Aquatics became my passion and activity I engaged in daily for over 10 years!  As a teenager I was given the opportunity to become a junior lifeguard and enjoyed assisting lifeguards with their instructions of swim lessons, both group and individual. I eventually became a lifeguard for the city of Los Angeles and continued teaching swim lessons to children ranging from ages 4-17.  I also taught parent-tot swim lessons to help children become comfortable with water with children ranging from months old to 4. I have also had experience coaching various swim teams and waterpolo teams. I can proudly say I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and also have developed patience and gentleness in working with children.
