I am an Arizona native who grew up in the Phoenix area. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Sports Management in December of 2012, and am currently pursuing my PhD in Educational Psychology. I swam on the University of Arizona swim team for three years from 2009-2011, and competed in the 2012 Olympic Trials, as well as in three Pac 12 championships. I am currently swimming and coaching for Tucson Ford Dealer’s Aquatics. I have aspirations to be a Division I head coach, and began coaching at Ford in the fall of 2012. At Ford, I coach a group of 7-11 year old competitive swimmers, and spent 6 months coaching for the Senior Group at Ford this winter while I took a brief hiatus from swimming.
Division 1 swimming experience, senior and age group level competitive coaching experience.
I specialize at coaching competitive swimmers. I develop technique for all four strokes, but would consider myself particularly skilled at making technical corrections to breaststroke.
