Find swimming lessons and lifeguarding across Connecticut
Hi! I’m Bella and after swimming all around CT I became a lifeguard to give back my community. I hold a certification in deep water rescue, including first-aid, CPR and AED. Additionally, I participate in competitive swimming, I can speak intermediate Spanish and I have lots of experience with kids aged 2-15 and would love to make your next aquatic event safe and fun!
Hi! I’m Mikayla, a certified Red Cross lifeguard with CPR/AED and first aid training and a passionate swim instructor with years of experience teaching both children and adults. I specialize in working with kids, helping them build confidence, safety skills, and a lifelong love for the water through patient, playful, and structured lessons. From first-time swimmers to more advanced learners, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every child. In addition to my strong background in children’s swim instruction, I also work with adults—whether you're overcoming a fear of water, learning to swim for the first time, or looking to refine your technique. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where everyone can feel safe, comfortable, and accomplished in the pool. I’ve worked at top aquatic centers, including Chelsea Piers, Stewie the Duck Swim School, and the Cambridge YMCA, where I’ve handled everything from scheduling to safety supervision. I'm reliable, communicative, and committed to making swim lessons enjoyable and effective for all ages. Currently pursuing degrees in international relations and web development, I continue to stay active in the aquatic world because I love seeing people grow in their skills and confidence, one stroke at a time. I am open to booking times that are not available in the availability provided; if you book, we can work out a weekday schedule that works for both of us! Let’s dive in together!
