Hi, my name is Ayanna Snowden and I've been teaching swim lessons for ages 3 months to 12 years old. I have worked both as a lifeguard and a Swim Instructor. I've also worked with special needs kids and fearful beginners in the pool. I love teaching swimming because swimming is a skill that I think everyone should learn and the key is starting young! You will be so amazed at how fast a child learns to swim and all the places swimming can take you!
Hi! I am Claire, and I have been teaching swim lessons since July 2021! I have taught from 11 months to 13 years old. I am a Red Cross lifeguard/first aid and CPR certified, and a Water Safety Instructor. My teaching style is fun and engaging while being strict and safe with the children. I like to have a mix of fun and strictness to allow kids to enjoy swimming while learning safely. I have a background in teaching both gymnastics and swimming. I grew up as a gymnast and a cheerleader for nine years, and I will be going into my senior year of college this fall. My long history of participating in sports has allowed me to understand what a good teacher does and how I can best teach children. I graduate from Texas Tech in May and will be home all summer to teach lessons!
Certified Swim Instructor with 10+ years of aquatics experience since 2011. I’ve taught over 300 students from the ages 2–80, focusing on water safety, confidence, and personalized swim development.
Hi, I’m Rolando. I’ve been passionate about swimming for as long as I can remember, with 15 years of competitive experience. For the past 3 years, I’ve been sharing that passion by teaching others how to swim. I'm certified in lifeguarding (for 5 feet of water and less), CPR, and first aid; safety is always my top priority!! When I start working with new students, I focus on building their confidence and understanding their current skill level. This helps me tailor my lessons to fit their needs and ensure they get the most out of our time together. While I’ve taught swimmers of all ages, I primarily work with kids and teenagers, especially those between 5 and 12 years old, as well as adults in their 20s and 30s. Throughout my swimming career, I’ve competed in various meets in New York and earned a few medals along the way. I also do lung training for breath control and work on building stamina. I love helping others develop a lifelong love for swimming. Whether you’re looking to improve your strokes, build endurance, or just gain confidence in the water, I’m here to help you reach your swimming goals.
