Job Requirements for Peoria
As an AquaMobile swim instructor in Peoria, you will need:
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification: Get a valid two-year certification from an American Red Cross or American Heart Association approved organization. Take classes at Certified CPR or Loving Hearts CPR.
- Swim Instructor/Lifeguard certification: Obtain a two-year certification by passing the written and practical tests at a credible organization. Valley Of The Sun YMCA and The City of Peoria offer certification courses.
- Access to reliable transportation: Valley Metro (light rail and bus system that serves Maricopa County and makes stops in Phoenix, Peoria, Chandler and surrounding areas), Uber/Lyft (rideshare services), cabs (Sun City Express, The Boss Taxi, etc.), personal car
- Two or more years of swim teaching/coaching and/or lifeguarding experience
- A love for swimming and a passion for teaching
