Job Requirements for Palm Bay
As an AquaMobile swim instructor in Palm Bay, you will need:
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification: Two-year certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Take classes at CPR Necessity or Space Coast Heart Savers.
- Swim Instructor/Lifeguard certification: Pass the American Red Cross written and practical exams to get a valid certification. You can take courses at Palm Bay Aquatic Center or Frieda Zamba Swimming pool.
- Access to reliable transportation: Space Coast Transit (bus system with routes throughout the area, including six that go through Palm Bay), Uber/Lyft (rideshare service), cab (Space Coast Taxi, Palm Bay Plus Shuttle Taxi, etc.), personal car
- Two or more years of swim teaching/coaching and/or lifeguarding experience
- A love for swimming and a passion for teaching
