Job Requirements for Fort Worth
As an AquaMobile swim instructor in Fort Worth, you will need:
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification: You will need a two-year American Red Cross certificate from an accredited organization. Examples in your area include Lfeiline CPR and Texas OnSite CPR.
- Swim Instructor/Lifeguard Certification: Completing an American Red Cross certification is an important step in the swimming industry. The Fort Worth YMCA and the City of Fort Worth both offer incredible training programs.
- Access to reliable transportation: Trinity Metro (bus system that serves the city of Fort Worth and suburbs in Tarrant County and railway system that goes through the city and surrounding areas), Zipzone (ridesharing service that lets you transfer between TEXrail and bus routes for a flat fee), personal car
- Two or more years of swim teaching/coaching and/or lifeguarding experience
- A love for swimming and a passion for teaching
Applicants who don’t meet the following requirements will still be considered for the role, providing all relevant qualifications/checks are obtained prior to starting.
