AquaMobile is seeking a HR Recruitment Intern (Co-op) that will work alongside our recruitment and marketing teams to implement new instructor recruitment strategies in Canada & the US. The HR Recruitment Intern (Co-op) will report to the Marketing Manager to plan, create, & implement new or existing marketing strategies and tactics.OVERVIEW OF THE ORGANIZATION
AquaMobile is an award-winning, fast growing start-up that uses a proprietary tech platform to connect pool owners with certified swim instructors - think of it as the “Über” of at-home swim lessons. We currently operate across Ontario & B.C., as well as 25 US states with over 1000+ swim instructors on our roster, making us the largest company of our kind in North America. AquaMobile has been featured by high-profile media such as Dragon’s Den, Globe & Mail, Huffington Post, and Inc. AquaMobile’s Marketing & Recruitment teams work from a relaxed & upbeat coworking space in downtown Toronto. The team works collaboratively every day, while focusing on individual tasks or small team projects. The Toronto team also works collaboratively with AquaMobile’s virtual sales & customer service team to seamlessly integrate all areas of business operations. Co-op students will have the opportunity to work directly with the Founder and CEO Diana Goodwin who is a graduate of the top business schools in both Canada and the US and a former Bain Management Consultant.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Recruitment & Marketing Teams on a variety of recruitment marketing projects & strategies to target instructors
- Assist in building a strong and cohesive culture among our instructor community
- Updates to website as needed
- Content creation for blog, social media, and PR
- Create and deploy email marketing campaigns and e-newsletters
SKILLS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly proactive, and an expert at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
- Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Time management
- Content creation (copy, design, video, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with WordPress is an asset but not required
- Knowledge of best practices in organizational behaviour and marketing
- Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is an asset but not required
- Experience with SEO is an asset but not required
- Experience with a CRM system is an asset but not required
- Experience in internet research
- Ability to write interesting and creative articles
- Experience with social media sites
- Must provide own laptop
