On the split separating Lake Illawarra and the Pacific Ocean is Primbee, New South Wales. Because of its location, the area has the nickname of “The Lake Suburb.” This was its name when it was offered for sale in 1919. Following this, development began with the first road being built in 1934. Then a bus route emerged in 1937 after the Windang bridge opened. There is a hill here that’s made of Budgong Sandstone that’s actually a volcanic type of sandstone!
