Setting Up Your Profile

AquaMobile Instructor Manual

What you can find on this page:

1. Four Steps to Complete your Profile

2. Your Default Settings

3. Updating Your Availability and Travel Area

1. Four Steps to Complete your Profile

1. Instructor Portal

Login at register.aquamobileswim.com/login. Use your email address and the temporary password you were sent to your email. To change your password, click the Profile tab and click Update Password.

2. Complete Your Bio

Complete your Instructor Bio. Include your experience teaching lessons and/or lifeguarding. You can also include any special skills or qualifications you have. This helps clients get to know who
you are before requesting to book with you!

3. Upload Your Profile Picture

Upload your profile picture! Make sure it is appropriate- professional pictures of you smiling or photos of you in the water are perfect!

4. Edit Your Availability and Travel Radius

Make sure to continuously update your availability (i.e. remove a date if no longer available). Once a client has been booked (based on your availability), it is your responsibility to honor the dates and times booked.

2. Your Default Settings

Your default settings until you edit your profile are as follows:

Availability: 100%; you have all dates and times available

Status: Inactive; your profile is not active to potential clients

Travel Radius: 12km (7.5 mi); you can service clients within 12km radius of your address

Important Note:

When you sign into your account for the first time, it is important to change your availability, set yourself to Active, and adjust your travel radius.

You can update your availability and travel zone at any time, thus being unavailable or not being able to travel a certain distance is not an acceptable excuse for refusing a booking. Please review the instructor and lifeguard expectations. If you ever experience issues updating your profile, let us know immediately.

3. Updating Your Availability and Travel Area

To set your availability: Login--> Click on Availability --> Click the Remove Availability button --> Select the days and times you cannot work --> Click Block!
You can block off multiple recurring days at once.
If you're blocking off several days at once, it may take a few seconds for the system to process it. When the pop-up disappears, just hover over any of the days you blocked off and you'll see the times you've blocked!
To draw a custom travel radius: Login --> Click the Profile tab --> Scroll to the bottom to find your Service Area map --> Click Create New
Click the Draw tool (see arrow below), then click anywhere on the map within the region you would like to work. Then drag the cursor to another point around your desired perimeter and click again to place another anchor point:
Repeat this step until you have drawn a closed shape around the area you would like to cover. The shape will fill in a solid blue when you've completed the area! Once you're happy with your radius, click "Save New Region".
You can also just edit the circular radius by changing the number of miles or kilometres and clicking Save at the top right corner of the Service Area box.
