Georgian Bay boasts some of the best beaches in Ontario. Almost all of the shores are lined by white. Sauble Beach, which is more commonly known as Wasaga Beach is the world’s longest freshwater beach. Providence Bay beach on Manitoulin Island is also worth checking out!
3. Gaspé, Québec
Among the sea, beaches, cliffs, mountains and rivers of Gaspe is the must-see Percé Rock! It used to be connected to the continent, but the rock formation now lies in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. There are used to three arches, but only one remains due to erosion. This window into the Atlantic is one of the largest arches over water in the world!
4. Kelowna, British Columbia
Okanagan Valley has 84% of the province’s wine acreage. The quiet family-run boutique vineyards are rich in tradition and character. It’s no wonder they are some of the highest-ranked at international competitions. There are over 20 wineries to visit in Okanagan Valley, offering tours and tastings. Check out the sparkling cyan waters of Lake Kalamalka in the summer! You won’t regret it! It’s something you have to see up close because pictures do not do it justice. There are also plenty of paths and water sports to check out on this B.C. adventure!
