Our planet is an amazing place, filled with beautiful beaches. Some of the best beaches provide breathtaking sunsets and crystal clear water. AquaMobile wants you to get out and see the world with our list of the top 5 beautiful beaches on earth:

Beautiful Beaches #1: Barnes Bay, Anguilla

On the northern tip of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean is the British overseas territory of Anguilla. It’s marquee beach, Barnes Bay has less traffic than most beautiful beaches on neighboring islands. At this white sand beach, you’ll only find a handful of people visiting this beach at any given time. This makes it quite the romantic spot to watch a sunset from the Mango’s Restaurant patio.

Although the beach has the Four Seasons resort at the end of Barnes Bay, most guests spend the day at the beachside pool on the Meads Bayside. The Four Seasons resort occupies a little less than half of Barnes Bay.

The Barnes Bay side of the resort is home to the resort’s beachfront private villas and small day-time restaurant called the Half Shell.

Near the end of this beautiful beach, although it’s a bit rocky, it’s a nice walk and plenty of sand covering the rocks.

Beautiful Beaches #2: Puka Shell Beach, Boracay, Philippines

Boracay’s beautiful beaches are world-famous and have received numerous awards from travel magazines. This could be one of the best white sand beaches in the world and the water here is clear and unpolluted.

Puka Shell Beach is only the second most popular sandy stretch on the island, after White Beach. The beach stretches 800 meters. Flying under the radar is part of what makes Puka Shell Beach so special. Since many people go to White Beach, you can escape the beach traffic by going to Puka Shell Beach where it is often quieter and more serene.

There are also no hotels located right on the beautiful beach, but there are quite a few local restaurants where you can try local Filipino cuisine.

Along with the abundance of its namesake, Puka Shells mixed in with the white sand! Don’t worry though, the sand is still smooth as silk under your feet!

Swimmers should proceed with caution, at certain times, the water can get rough and the currents strong. Make sure you’re an experienced swimmer if you choose to swim during these times and ensure that children shouldn’t aren’t left alone near the shoreline.

Beautiful Beaches #3: Matira Beach, Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Matira is one the most popular beaches on the exotic island paradise of Bora Bora. This is the only public beach in on the main island that is worth visiting. This is a white sand beach surrounded by palm trees and lush green hills that stretch to the clouds. This western-facing beach is renowned for beautiful sunsets, so make sure to stick around a bit later to catch nature’s beauty.

This beautiful beach is also a great place for snorkeling with the nearby barrier reef waiting to be explored. The calm waters are safe for children to swim as well.

If you are looking for relaxation, there’s transportation across the lagoon to the luxurious Intercontinental Resort & Thalasso Spa. If you want to stay right on the beach there is the Hotel Matira. While the Intercontinental Le Moana is on the other side of Point Matira.

Beautiful Beaches # 4: Sunset Beach, Oahu, Hawaii

One of the best places on the planet for surfing has always been Hawaii. Keep in mind If you’re looking to ride the waves, it’s best to come in the wintertime. This place is popular for professional surfers because the waves can reach heights of twenty-five feet! It’s no wonder Sunset Beach hosts signature surf events like Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

However, during the wintertime less experienced swimmers should be careful of the Sunset Rip, a dangerous rip current offshore. Another watch out: from June through September, there are incidents of stinging limu, a type of seaweed.
The summertime is ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving when the water is flat. There are also a few tide pools to explore! Not only is Sunset Beach popular with tourists, but a favorite among the locals who claim it’s the “world’s most beautiful beach.” Who can blame them with a sunset like that? Naturally, this island has one of the best sunsets to see in the world.

Beautiful Beaches # 5: El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

Beautiful beaches like this are what dreams are made of. Surrounded by tree-spotted limestone cliffs and an intricate underwater world that can be seen from the beach makes El Nido one of the world’s best clear blue water beaches. This is one of the best white-sand beaches with access to coral reefs and an extraordinary ecosystem. The waters are teeming with several species of tropical fish as well as five species of endangered sea turtles. In the trees, you can find 100s of different bird species.

However, it’s a bit of a hassle to get to, being that it requires a 7-hour bus ride. When you arrive, you will see it was well worth it with plenty of caves to discover either by snorkel or Bangka boat. You can hop from island to island to explore all of this natural splendor. If you’re more on the adventurous side, there’s also a zipline from one island to another, take the flight across the sunset for the best experience.

The sleepy town of El Nido had long been ignored by tourists, but since the 1980s it has become a premier destination, not only for its beautiful beach but the opportunity to go island hopping around the breathtaking Palawan region.
